Global Dagger Memorial Reserve – Fallen Hero Edition marks the beginning of a new annual tradition created to individually honor the fallen heroes of the program and ensure their stories, service, and sacrifice are never forgotten.

The first bottle in the collection honors Greg “Puddy” Wright Jr. As the first member lost from the program and the first to be honored on the Memorial Wall at Langley, it is fitting that Puddy's story begins the Fallen Hero collection.

This inaugural release features an 8.5-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, bottled at 95 proof in meaningful tribute to Greg’s 1995 graduation from Virginia Military Institute (VMI). Its mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 3% malted barley creates a bourbon worthy of remembering a man whose service and sacrifice continue to inspire those who knew him and those who carry on the mission.

Puddy's bottle is the first, but his will not be the last. Each year, Global Dagger will continue this tradition with a new Fallen Hero Edition dedicated to another of the fallen. Each release will tell the story of one hero, allowing their individual life, service, and sacrifice to be remembered and shared.

Global Dagger was created to preserve the stories of those who served in the shadows and to ensure their sacrifice—and the sacrifice of their families—is never forgotten. For every bottle purchased, $100 will go directly back to the Global Dagger Association to support its mission of providing resources and support for the families, staff, and contractors who continue to serve with honor and often without recognition.

This is more than a collection of bourbon. It is a tradition of remembrance—one hero, one story, and one bottle at a time.
